Do get allergic on cat's fur?

This morning one of our cats slept on my chest while i was lying down. then after a few seconds, i can't breathe. Maybe my asthma was attacking me. maybe i'm not supposed to lie with cats.
how about you? do you have this experience?

sad news for you but yes, cats fur are not a good thing for people with asthma. i do not have any problem with such but the thing is i never got to own a pet cat that long. i used to have when i was i think 4 years old, but the went away after 2 years. i guess she was stolen by somebody in our area.
