This weekend, I found a 12 qt. Presto Pressure Cooker/Canner at a yard sale for $15. A few weeks ago I got a water bath canner on clearance for $8. I'm so excited!!!!! All the pressure canner needs is a gasket and I found it at a local store for $8.50.

It sounds like you got a good deal.
Do you have a garden so you will have fresh produce to can? Or are you going to buy what is in season and can that?
I used to get peaches by the bushel. I would make peach cobbler filling and freeze it in foil in the pan I use for cobbler. That way all I had to do was make the crust. The filling was made and even in the form I needed.

I do have a garden. This is the first year I've ever canned anything. I'm having a very hard time keeping up with my garden. LOL It's not really even that big. I just am a bit overwhelmed. But, I do love garden produce.

Yesterday at cititrends I bought 5 pairs of new dressed pants at for $4.50 (tax free weekend) they were $13.00 each on sale for .90 each,at walmart I bought a pair of sandles for $4.00,ten packs of glue sticks for $1.00 and glue for .14 also at Target I bought a dress for $8.00 it was $30.00, a shirt for $1.38 it was $14.00 and a couple of other shirts for $3.00. I'm going shopping again today to look for some more bargains.
