Appreciation

One a person has food, shelter and clothing the most motivating force is appreciation. Do you believe this?

yup I agree with that. appreciation is a large motivating factor. and marriages can break up because there isn't enough of it. esp if words of affirmation are the person's main love language. not sure wehther you've read 'the five love languages' by john chapman ( i think). it describes that we have different things that make us tick. 1. physical touch 2. words of affirmation 3. gifts 4. acts of service 5. quality time i find that at work appreciation is not so much a motivating factor but when i do things not for money , it is. :) cheerio!

Oh yeah, squaretile, I have read that book, very good.. Unfortunately not many appreciate what is said in this book..
