Man U wins the Charity Shield =D

Yes! United are this season's Community Shield holder. Congrats! What are your views on this match? Who do you think deserves to be the Man-of-the-Match? What are your says on the goals scored? I think both teams took it abit easy judging by the tacklings and physical challenges. And look at Mourinho who could even afford a sly smile when his players missed all their penalty kicks! The official best player award went to Patrice Evra, but with due respect to Evra, I would have given the award to Edwin van der Sar. How on earth did he manage to save all 3 penalties! Great performance Edwin! Ryan Giggs' goal was really well taken considering the number of Chelsea players stationing at goal, and of course thanks to the great pass and workrate of Evra. Malouda's goal was credited for his immense strength and speed. Both were very good, well-taken goals. Overall, it was a good match to watch, though would have like to see the new signings involved. What on earth happened to Nani's boots? Did he wear the boots with the wrong studs?

How wonderful! Man Utd have really started well. I guess their first Premier League match will be as victorious! Edwin is the hero!
