I am expecting this discussion to get deleted quickly. This is a sociological experiment. I am interested in seeing exactly how many people will not read the body of this discussion and just jump down my throat because of the title. I don't, by the way, hate Christians although some of them get on my nerves.

LOL. I'm glad I'm not the only one who feel the need to experiment. I wonder how it will go. Hope to find out before they delete it.

Ohhh I hate Christians too cyntrow!!!! *giggles* (Now I have to look over my shoulder to make sure my Christian husband isn't reading this.) It is an interesting experiment, but it doesn't look like it's gotten as much interest as I would have expected. For the record, I don't hate Christians either. In fact, there are very few people I would actually say I hate. But I do very much dislike people who try to push their religion on others, whatever that religion might happen to be.

I don't hat any group, although there are a number of individuals within all groups that I have managed to strongly dislike. LOL I was just interested in how much people actually read. Maybe I should have been nastier in my first sentence. LOL. We'll see how it works out, but for now it seems that my experiment has failed. I'm not disappointed.

this could also be an experiment to see just how rediculous someone can be...You deliberately set out to rile up a certain group hoping to be attacked ...why ? is there not enough dissension in the world for you yet...is there not enough hate and bigotry...im sure christians everywhere will sleep easier knowing you dont really hate them...you will still look rediculous...at least in my opinion... toriaT

Thanks so much for your opinion. I wonder if the title was "I hate Dogs" would you have gotten your blood pressure up as much. I might try that. Thanks for giving me the idea. Have a nice day.

Oh, one more thing. My hope was not to be attacked. My hope was that people would actually read the post instead of attacking me about the title. I find it interesting and heartening that they are actually reading. In fact the only person so far who has attacked me has been you. I'm presuming that you missed the point of the post, although I thought it was fairly clear. I've noticed that too many times people will jump on the title of a post or the first sentence or two and miss the whole point. I am interested in seeing how many would do that on this post. I hope this made my intention more clear. If you still think I am ridiculous, that's cool. But it might help if you read some of the responses and my replies to them. Or maybe it won't help. Anyway, have a nice day.

I would like to say first that it should not matter how someone looks just for posting the way they feel. Granted that he dose not hate them. But you see in the world of ours, everyone has a mind and just because you dont like the way one works dose not give anyone the right to say someone's opinion is incorrect. Just remember opinions are like backsides, everyone has one. I really think that it to reply to something without reading it is rediculous. Hello. This was a smart thing make a topic that people react on and see if they read the rest or only the topic a greate topic for this discussion. Hawe a nice day.

Thanks. I'm just curious. I've seen too many discussions in which people read only the first line. I just want to see....

Catchy title, cyntrow. I would like to say I don't hate anyone, but must admit some people are annoying. I am a Christian whose relationship with my loving heavenly Father, through the Lord Jesus Christ, is of prime importance in my life. I have known, loved and served Him for 49 of my 71 years and treasure the experience of His continual presence in my life. Having said that, I would have to say that sometimes I cringe at what some self-professed Christians on here write, and I wish they would stop. While I acknowledge their rights to say what they will, I think they do much damage to the Christian image. I agree with you, some people can "get on our nerves" but hate is an experience I never want to feel - not even for child abusers, who would be at the bottom of my list as far as people go.

I'm a Christian also, but i don't hate. I thought of 3 different titles for this post, but unfortunately, i thought that "christians" would be the most likely to not read anything beyond the title. My dad is a preacher, former jew, and he is incredibly enlightened. He is my reason for my belief. I have explored other beliefs, but Ive always come back to jesus. I dig the man's teachings. I have soooo many times seen "Christians" jump on a person, Christian or not for not seeing things identical to the way the respondant sees them. I think that Christians are so diverse, that is why there are so many different denominations. But we all have a common ground. We just need to see it.

Same here my friend, jumped from WWE to NWA. I'm glad that he didn't have the belt anymore, I think he doesn't deserve to have it on the first place. I HATE Christian, AKA CHRISTIAN CAGE!:)

I didn't even know he was still wrestling. Never did like him though. Even back in the day when he was tag teamed with his brother, Edge and they were Minions of "The Undertaker" I still thought he was a jerk

Well sweety I read the whole thing - but I do know what you mean about people who get so riled up on a post without actually reading it properly! Lets hope the discussion stays - it would be a great sign! xxx

I'm heartened to know that most people are not falling for it. I think the poor soul below almost did, however. Oh well, it's still here. Let's see how long it lasts

Well, the topic alone drew my interest. From what I know about you, you hate no one. After reading the entire subject matter I breathed a sigh of relief that I was right. I have noticed that most of the respondees did, in fact, read and understand what you were doing. I know it is irritating when one posts a discussion topic and some people that respond didn't really have a clue as to what was written. Probably because they just didn't feel like reading the whole thing. I am also a Christian, but I don't understand or like alot of Christians that act so un Christ-like. I hate the way they act, but I don't hate the person. PEACE

I was going to put I Hate Gays, but I was afraid too many people would agree with me and it would raise my blood pressure. LOL. I'm also a Christian and I don't really hate anyone, but there are some people from all religions, nationalities, races and sexualities that I have found myself disliking strongly. Generally, I do try to understand what makes them tick and then it makes them harder to dislike; pity comes then. Sometimes people are impossible to grasp. Sorry if I threw you for a loop. LOL. I was just curious. I'm pretty happy to see that the experiment has failed. Take care

Well I can understand how you feel! But as far as your experiment goes you shoudlve dragged it out longer like you said to atleast cover the first sentence or so. I did an experiment on asking people what they thought they seen in my avatar the good or the evil. I kind of messed that up by even saying there was good and evil on it I shouldve just asked what people seen in my avatar.

I should have pushed it further. maybe thru the first paragraph. But the concept of hate is odd to me. I jsut really thought that people would read the title and flip out. I'm happy to say that I was wrong.

Cool experiment cyntrow. I think it happens alot...someone scans the discussion or worse doesnt even bother to read it...then responds as if they know. I have been guilty a couple of times.

I kind of thought that the title would piss people off, but I hoped that they would read the post and see what I was doing. I'm glad to see that i wasn't wrong. Except for one person who got mad at the experiment itself.

I can't imagine getting angry at this. It was a very creative way to prove a point.
