Do you drink soda faster if it's cold than if it's warm?

I've gotten used to drinking my pepsi & root beer warm so I don't drink it very fast. But I've noticed that if I have a cold bottle or can of it, I'll drink it a lot faster than I do the warm or room temperature ones. So do you drink your sodas faster if their cold than you do if their warm or room temp?

If it is cold, I drink it slower, but if it is warm, it is gone in no time. Of course this, I have to go back in my memory as it has been years since I had soda, but I remember when I was a kid buying creme soda from the corner store and drinking it on the way home. I could not stand it warm, so I wanted to get rid of it as soon as possible.

Well, I try not to drink soda at all anymore, but when I do, I would only drink it cold. So therefore, I would say that I would drink it faster if it was cold. I have had warm soda before and I did not like it at all! Ice cold is the way to go for me!

I drink more slowly if something is cold typically, to avoid brain freeze. =p However, I can't drink most sodas warm at all. They just taste gross to me warm, especially Pepsi. About the only ones I will drink warm or at room temperature are Cherry Coke or Dr. Pepper, even though I drink a large variety of types of soda cold. Strange that it would seem to taste so different based on temperature, but warm Pepsi is just disgusting to me.

I really don't like soda unless it is REALLY cold and yes - funnily enough I do drink it a lot faster the colder it is!

I sip it normally. Eating or drinking faster cause trouble at times.

I can't drink soda warm at all! Yech! It grosses me out! I love soda super cold, and it seems the best way to have it really cold is right out of the can. Gah, I luuuuuurve soda, but I have really "quit the sauce" lately because I know it is no good for me. But man do I love it, espcially Mr. Pibb....nice and cold..yummee!

I do the same. If I have my Pepsi at room temperature, it seems to last me for quite a while. If it is cold though, I usually drink it right away and it only takes me a few minutes to finish it off.

I've noticed that too. I prefer Coke but still... I usually don't bother putting my box of cans in the refrigerator, mostly because there's no room most of the time. But when I do happen to get a cold one I find myself guzzling it down. I'm not quite sure why but that's what works for me!

The colder it is the faster I can drink it, provided I am very hot and this drink came in handy, just at the right time. Most of the times, I do not drink gassy drinks, especially if it is warm or at room temperature. If it is cold, there is still a possibility I may drink it.

I can't gulp cold soda. I will drink it fast if it has warmed up. My hubby is opposite -- he can chug soda and does on these very hot days. I don't know how he does it.

i drink it faster when it's cold because it refreshes me. when it's warm i find that it tastes nasty or maybe it's just me.
