chances are you know someone who has had a cancer, such as an older relative or someone in a friend's family. but sometimes cancer affects teens ans when the person affected is you, the word cancer takes on anew mening-one that can feel personal and frightening. if you are been diagnosed with cancer, you should know that although its unusual for people to have cancer during thier teeneage years, youre certainly not alone. The good news is that most teenagers acquire cancer everyday. The word cancer actually refers to amny diseases not one.

a 15 year old nephew was diagnosed with cancer last month. right now he is having treatment in singapore and so far he is responding very well with the treatment. what really amazed me is his outlook. the moment he found out what was really wrong with him considering that he is very young his first reaction was what else can i do but to accept it. if i get well then then i belong to the lucky few but if i don't then it's my faith. god bless this child.
