this called "blogs"...pls help!

I am a graduate student at present, but am getting bored and probably tired of studying, doing reearch, staying in the lab and so on. I wanted to have some "carreer shift" for a moment, like just sit down on my computer and just do some writings. I have been reading about blogs blogs and blogs. I honestly wanted to venture into this called blogs but I do not know how to start. Also, my problem is i'm not good in writing and don't enjoy writing literaries, current events, social sciences and the like, so I wanted to have/do blogs that are technical (are there technical blogging oppurtunities?), as i am more inclined into technical writing. Please help.How/where should i start?

Blogging is a very nice way of expressing yourself or having the freedom to do what you like with the free space provided - in return it benefits those who visit your blog - besides this I don't know what technical thing you want to do - you can compile and put technical data on your blog like information about various software for improving your computer performances and antivirus etc. You can easily find links on the net and get permission to post those links from the owners.

As you are inclined to technical writing, it's a good sign for your blogging carrier, if you want. Because, now a days technical articles are in demand as far as monetizing a blog is concerned. Starting a blog is simple and you can choose any blogging platform that are available on net for free. The selection of one has to be in the light of the knowledge of advantages and disadvantages of each. The popular blogging platforms include Blogger, Movable Type, Wordpress, Typead, Livejounal etc.
