Should TV channels be allwed to show Gore?

I have seen GEO showing extreme gore in news ... I beleive in freedom of speach but i think this kind of freedom is bad ... there is a whole set of people who watch TV including little childern and they dont need to get that pain and anguish in their minds ... our childern should be protected and I dont understand why these TV channels cant understand that ... I would like to hear of what people have to say about this?

I believe in the freedom of speach. Why should it be up to the tv channels? I believe parents should monitor what their children watch. Who should be more protective to a child then their parents?

As far as for a news show why should the truth be hidden? Maybe people need to wake up and see reality. The good and the bad. Maybe if one person seen reality it might stop them. That would be 1 less bad thing out there.
