People of different religious faith do pay homage to their parents, loved ones go to cemetery by putting the flower on their dome at the cemetery. Do you pay homage every year or only if time permits and or when an opportunity arises or you do not pay homage at all.

In our religion female are not allowed to go to cementry to pay homage. So we do some pooja at home that day and pray their soul should be peaceful wherever it is.Male do some taddinam and tarpanam like that.In that they remind and pray so many of their relatives .Female just give them support and arrange everything to that.

I wish I could. I miss my parents and would love to adorn their graves with flowers but they are buried so very far from where I live. Our family does however have someone who does put flowers there for us and a new American flag by my father's grave as he was a WWII disabled veteran.

Dear Jillhill, Thank you for sharing your comments. I feel it is our duty to pay homage at least every year till we live to our parents.
