How often do you go to church?

Are you a regular church-goer or do you only visit a few times a year? One in seven adults in the UK attends a Christian church each month, with nearly three million saying they would attend if only they were asked. The findings of the survey also show that the UK is among Europe's four least observant countries, though 53% pf those polled claim to be a Christian. Tearfund, who carried out the survey, said many more people would attend regularly if given the "right invitation." What's your opinion of the survey? What would make you attend church more often? Do you consider yourself to be a Christian?

I rarely ever go to church, however, I pray ever night. Even though I do not go to church, I believe that god is always by my side, and that I am firmly christian.

I don't attend church much anymore. My parents used to take us to a baptist church, but then we moved 30-45 min away and we didnt want to go to a different church. We started attending less and less, and then my mom stopped going, and would just take the kids and drive around till we were finished, but that was a waste of gas and she had nothing to do since she didnt want to drive home then come back to pick us up and go home again. So eventually we just stopped going. I didnt try to attend church again till I came here to college, and my roommate is a very religious person. I went to her church with her and got so scared. People were jumping around and fainting all over the place I thought someome was about to die or something, and then then wanted a 50 dollar donation from each of us which I didnt have since I am a poor college student, and didnt appreciate since It was the first or second time I had attended. So no more church for me for a while...

I would like to serve god. I feel life and serving god is a process. The more you go thru in life, I feel the more you see the need to be a servant of god. Today we live in a world, where their are no morals, everybody do what they want to do without a christian conscious, I feel if everyone was to serve god, the world would be 100% better.

I attend church 3-4 times a week and I consider myself to be a Christian. I guess that I would attend church more often if the church that I attended had more interesting bible study lessons for people in my stage in life topics like christian marriage, parenting, keeping the faith even in hard times, christian networking etc. Churches need to incorporate a Single's Ministry,Couple's Ministry,Teens Ministry,Children's Ministry etc so that everyone in every age group can enjoy going to church and worshiping and learning about the Lord.

I am a Christian, specifiaclly roman Catholic. We are actually bliged to go to mass in our church every Sundays and Special Holidays like Christmas Day and others. But their is a mass that is held everyday and it is up to you if you attend or not. Since I am a religious person I do go to mass everytime I have the opportunity. I will never get tired of thanking and praising the Lord for all the blessings he gives to me. I also go for confession at least once month in order to ask for forgiveness for all the sins I have done.

I haven't seen a church since 2003 Christmas. After I left home, I could never find time to go to church anymore. Maybe someday I will find time to go again.

I would say that I am totally disenchanted with the church as a body. I go once a year the day before mother's day. However, this does not stop me from worshipping that Lord on a daily basis. I would rather be in church and believing God for the right church for me. I know there is no perfect church. They say that if you find the perfect church, don't join, because you will mess it up. But, I don't know that the churches are doing enough to promote unity in the body of Christ. And like Forrest Gump said, that is all I am going to say about that.

We go to church as a family every Sunday. That has been a family tradition ever since we were young. Regardless the weather, we really go to church. It's just one day a week that we give something to the Lord and I think going to church as a family is the best bonding a family could have. =) Have a great day ahead.
