I guess I could say I feel safe. "Safe" though is a somewhat abstract term. How does one define an experience. Once a definition is put forward by someone, people can only compare it to their own experiences, that would be imaginary, unless that is they were not feeling "safe". Here and now is pure experience the words and descriptions come *after* the experience so are therefore not the experience. Total acceptance (another abstract) of what is, is the only reality.

My level of saftey depends on my trust in God. Since I know that he is always in control, then I know that nothing happens outside of his will. Because I know that his will is the only thing that will be done in my life, I feel totally safe in his arms.

This is an interesting discussion. Lets see. With physical... yes, I feel safe. I am in good health, & there is little chance I will be "attacked", assuming that is what you mean.. Financial... not 100% safe. I have superannuation, & investments, but it is still a worry as to what the Government will do regarding pensions. LOve... again, I don't feel 100% safe. My hubby & I love ach other, but his kids are trying very hard to destroy our marriage ( so is his ex). Friends... yes, my friends are reliable, I feel safe here. Value of work... I quit my fulltime teaching job a few years ago. I value what I do at home.

That is a good point. The safety of our children in an ever growing violent world, is a real issue.

so far so good and actually for me at the age of 46, my life has just begun. My previous time was very bad on me and now I'm feel safe in my world.

I think I feel safe enough maybe not financial yet since I am still trying to earn the degree that will get me there someday but everything else seems to be ok for now.
