honestly i like wearing formal attires but since that doesn't show much on me everytime i go out, i prefer referring myself as a casual type of dresser. i do have much formal attire in my closet than in my sisters' but i seldom use them. just when i have to. during normal days, when i go out, i wear sandos, slippers, jeans.. those sort of clothes for a 23 year old like me. but when i'm going to a place where im going to meet new people, i have to wear better than that to make impressions. yes, clothing matters to me when it comes to situations like meeting new people.

Having both garments and apparels are good things to have in everyone's life. It depend on the function or occasion that you going to attend. Just like if you are going for swimming, it's improper for your body to be clad with jeans and T-shirt or pajamas(pyjamas). You must have bikini for swimming. Or on enjoying bowling you wear gown. So....come back to your question about NECESSITY? And again it depends on your attending function and time to be held (day or night).

being dressed casually is the normal thing one do everyday but there are times that one has to be formally dressed that will fit the ocassion. so i guess both is better and a necessity.
