When you die, would you want to be CREMATED or BURIED?

A friend shared that she wants to be cremated when she die. Hmmm... *hehe* That brings me to the thought way back when a relative or somebody close dies. I was used to seeing people being buried. I had never even heard a close relative or a friend's friend been cremated. --- On my part, I want to be buried when I die. I want to see people spend time during my wake and who these people are. I want to see who are the people who remember me. I want to witness how I touched these people's lives. :)

i would have to be buried,so all my family, and friends could visit me year round, and make me feel loved by putting flowers and pictures by me.the thought of cremation, just gives me goose bumps.i wouldnt want someone to carry me around.

My preference is to have my body whole. But being cremated doesnt affect where one's soul go..as in the end you become nothing but dust..It just speeds up the process to be cremated.

Whatever is less expensive. I think Cremation is best for me.

I honestly don't know what I want to happen to my body when I die. It's pretty intimidating to think about right now. But I'm sure, as I get older and learn more about life, I'll decide on what I think would be best for my body. Something that my family and friends will appreciate and respect.

I would like to be buried after i die. It will save a lot of air pollution, water pollution, save a lot of woods. And also it will fertilize the soil..hehehe

I want to be buried because it feels more natural. I know a lot of people who dislike the idea of rotting away and being eaten by worms but to me that seems perfectly reasonable. I really don't like the idea of cremation - there is just something I feel uneasy about being reduced to ashes.

Bit of a morbid thread but to tell you the truth I don't really care, whatever is cheaper and easier for those I leave behind.

I am not rally sure, I did go through both options but I just can't think of which one to pick at all at this time. I guess I will just let my family decide when I do leave someday.

I could care less. I think it's better for the soil, if we're buried. I think that'd be the way to go.

My hubby and I just had this conversation the other day. He stated that he thinks he want to be cremated and placed on our fireplace. Personal me I'm undecided on how I would like to be handled. But I has feel like this, whatever you do to my body won't change where and how the soul travels.

I would probably be buried..because it's the way it is in our family..but whatever they do to my body when I die I wouldn't probably care as long as my spirit and soul goes back to the Lord. But of course, It wuld be nice to kow too, whose gonna cry and weep and be there often during my wake.. wow! what a morbid discussion huh? :)

I think I want to be buried...My father was cremated and that was hard for me. Not being able to see him for that one last time. So I do want to be burried.....

I might choose to be cremated. Save money and save some ground. I'm also organ donor, so whatever part still good they can take it away first before they cremate me.
