you mean, you are forced to take against your will?
am i clearly reading it as "Respidal"? that one for schizo? did you asked your doc why they give you such? is 6mg too much for you and that's why you are saying that it isn't normal?
i actually was fishing more information here in order to give my opinion on the circumstances. thanks

A qualified Pharmacist told me that it was too much, the normal dose is 2mg and mostly at night.The side effects i was told could be very dangerous,it could make a man become impotent as well! Anyway, i never wanted to take it but many things added up but the dose was reduced after the doctor was involved,the nurses reduced it;i can't tell you who actually prescribe the medication but i'm telling you what i wrote down as the medication that was given.The doctor was even surprised when he heard that i have been on 6mg.@sirrob (4108)

i presume a doctor prescribe your meds and when you went to a different doc s/he reduced it according to your present situation. now that is just way not good to be given a medication at a higher dosage. glad that you get for a second opinion with your dosage. i really can't tell why you were given or started at higher dosage, considering that the second doc upon evaluation he reduced it to twice as lower that the original dosage.
