Simplicity Garden Tractor - Starting System Wiring Diagram

Good afternoon ... I have a thirty (30) year old Simplicity 7012 Garden Tractor, equipped with a Kohler engine. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the electrical system for this machine? The Kohler Service Manual is of no help and the local Simplicity Dealer has advised me that a wiring diagram doesn't exist (which I find difficult to believe). Right now, the starter solenoid is clicking, even with a starter power pack hooked up to the battery. Yesterday, I bought a starter solenoid and will replace it tonight. How durable are the starter's on these machines? Any insight on the above would be appreciated. Thanks ... Marty
