I'm getting good at the html thing

I love making pages, it's fun and rewarding to type codes into notepad and watch them load in color, fonts and images in my browser. Just takes a sec to upload to my site and make a link for displaying my work. This is one of my more simple pages. It actually took me longer to locate the graphic I wanted than it did to type up the code and load it to my site. Givera look and tell me what you think. http://www.byte-size.biz/sp/aw4mforum.html I've made a ton of splash pages over the past couple of years, if you want to see more of my work, just say so, I'll be glad to show you my work.

I'm hopeless at html, I've tried to get my head around it but I can never seem to get things to sit correct between the various browsers, I'll stick to music & leave the web design to you sponge Queen :) The site you have displaying is good, simple & too the point, to many people put in way too much.

Thanks, Jay. You have FiendCat Referrals to do splashing the easy way, lol. I know what ya mean about people putting too much crap on their splashes...kinda defeats the purpose of a splash page, eh? Lemme know if you ever need help with tagging, etc. for something. Ya know I'm always glad to help.

So far the only thing I have trouble getting to work is email forms, lol. If lining things up is the problem, use the arrow characters, between those put what you want it to do, i.e. center or align="left" etc. then use the end tag as you normally would after the portion you want lined up is finished.

I'm really lazy when it comes to searching for codes and html tricks and stuff so them links are mighty fine cheers!! I'm having fun with blogger at the moment, building various niche blogs, the latest one is all about halloween masks and costumes over at http://halloweenmasks4u.blogspot.com all I have to do is add my CJ code trackers and already to go html in and away I go wahheeyyy!!

I'll keep that in mind, thank you very much for sharing. I have also used these sites when I need a code or tag that I do not regularly use: http://www.ascii.cl/htmlcodes.htm http://www.web-source.net/html_codes_chart.htm

I'm pretty much self-taught with the help of Video Professor and a friend/partner in Florida. Thank you for sharing the link. I have it opened in a new tab and will be checking it out momentarily.

Yep that certainly is to the point in your splash page! Sometimes people get to bogged down with information at times and it's these splash pages that are really there as pointers that redirect to the main event. Although that woman nearly frightened me off pointing at me and about to tell me off...!!

Hi Shannon,I took a look at a web site 4 me..I don't wish to offend you in any way but there really isn't a description of what the page is suppose to represent or what the forum is all about. I believe I get it ,but most visitors won't.Do you understand what I'm getting at? Like maybe an opening paragraph or description of what the site is about. loveya kiddo;)
