Have you ever been drunk? What's it like to get drunk?

I'm 32 and I've never been drunk and I really don't want to get that way,but how do you know that you are getting ready to get drunk. How many drinks does it take to get drunk?

I got drunk a couple of times when I was in the service and it is not a plesant experience. One time I couldn't even remember a part of the night. Fortunately it was on base and I could walk back to the barracks. The only part that I remember between being at the "party" where I got drunk and waking up in the morning the next day was falling down the stairs when trying to go up them on the way to my room. I had a terrible hangover and was sick for over a day. Besides that it is dangerous and bad for your health. I strongly recommend against even thinking about trying it. Getting drunk is for losers who are insecure and can't have a good time by just being themselves.

I would say that there is only one way to find out for sure, accept I don't promote or advise drinking.

I was around your age when I deliberately had a few drinks and it only too a couple to see what it felt like to be drunk, I just wanted to see why so many seem to get such a kick out of it, I didn't think much of it really, I felt dizzy and giggly, so my one and only experience convinced me it wasn't for me.

That doesn't sound like fun. When I'm out I usually only have one drink and that's only on occasions.

first and foremost, when you do decide to have a drink and you aren't really a drinker, make sure you're with someone you can trust and who will make sure you'll be ok. . . a tell-tale sign that you're getting drunk is when things around seem to go around especially when you close your eyes. . .next your speech becomes slurred. . then you can't walk straight or even stand up for long..

i experienced being drunk just once, only once in my entire life and never did it again.. that was when i was in college.. we're all girls and we're upstairs in my boyfriend's house, the boys were downstairs having a jamming.. they didn't know that we are already having a drink up there.. that was my first and last being drunk! my boyfriend (now my husband) was so angry because i was already drunk.. actually i don't really drink, it was only a fun...my boyfriend took care of me that time.. he was not drunk but it's me who was drunk... i was so ashamed that time and never did it again until now..

I am 21 and now that I am of age I don't even drink much. A couple years ago I had my drinking days and would get drunk quite often. I would never purposely get drunk now. My tolerance has since become very low and it would probably only take two or three drinks for me to get drunk. I get a buzz off of one/two and that's all I need when I am drinking now. I usually only drink because it tastes good or socially. Getting drunk is not even that great looking back.. I did a lot of stupid things! But I guess I had some fun and I learned a lot haha

If you have never been drunk, all I can say is that it's not to be recommended. I had to find out as a kid and all I managed to do was talk nonsense and as I drank more, vomitted and felt really ill. The next morning it felt as if I had been hit on the head with a baseball bat. Not pleasant at all! Since that occasion I have not become a tee-totaller but just have one or two drinks now and again, which does relax me a little but that is all. No hang-overs, no feeling ill.. I reckon it's an over-rated pastime. And I read only in the news this morning that now they think binge drinking is responsible for an increase in cancer..
