Batista is not good enough to become champion.

I have never known of a wrestler getting so many title matches in a row. The fans may not like me saying this. But Batista did not get the job done. Even after so many defeats, he still calls the championship 'his'. Now, he's got one more chance at Summerslam. I'd say Dave has had his chance and it is time he shuts his mouth and retreats. Sad, but the bare truth.

It's all down to ratings. Batista at the moment brings in the ratings wether he is champ or not and from a lot of the past WWE story lines Vince will string it out for as long as he can (just like he did with his feud with Shaun Michaels).

I have to agree with you there. Vince strings everything out for as long as he can! The Shawn Michaels feud got on my nerves after awhile.

Batista is aged. He lied about his age when he entered WWE. Right now he must be in his mid 40's

Hahahaha.....Sure that Dave would be in hi smid 40s. Khali would be too. And Taker is much more aged. So, Dave is not really 'old'. Lolll Thanks for the response

I don't know really but I think Batista still deserves to be the champion. I cannot think of a more suitable wrestler in Smackdown to be the next champ. I do not appreciate the great Kali as the Champ. he is like a robot when he moves, maybe because of that huge body he got. But I don't like the way he wrestles. After its just entertainment and everything is a skit and staged. We don't know what they got in store for Batista on Summerslam. It is up to the directors and the srciptwriters to give the verdict.

There should be no denying the fact that Khali is agreat wrestler. The fans do not like him because he tosses around the superstars they like. There are several superstars in the Smackdown roster who are as eligible or even more eligible than Dave is. There is Finlay, Mark Henry, Kane etc. I'd go for Mark Henry. He has the stuff and he came much before Khali did as well. Thanks for the response.

I guess out of everyone left out there on Smackdown, who do you put up against Kali that the fans will back as a face if not Bastita? Neither Kane nor Taker is getting the pop from the crowd that Batista is. As for him not getting the job done, that's all up to Vince and the writers to decide on who wins the match. Vince has a thing for pushing the big guys and Dave fits the bill. 7

I agree but I do feel bad for The "Animal" (for those of you who do not follow WWE - Batista is "The Animal". Obviously you follow it so you realize he had to give up the belt when he got hurt so technically he didn't "lose" it. I can see his determination in now conquering the belt again and taking back his title. It's got to be a blow to your ego that you had to give back the belt because you were injured and needed surgery. I've always assumed the matches are "fixed" so why they wouldn't have him just win it back for now is beyond me. I'm actually going to Summer Slam (row 4 ringside) - I cannot wait - watch for me on PPV as I will be going wild when Batista takes back what's his!
