Am I the only one worried crazy about my milk supply all the time and if my baby is getting enough to eat? I'm constantly worry about it. Please tell me I'm not the only one. My friend told me she was breastfeeding her baby and she just dried up so it makes me really worried that I may also dry up.

Want to improve your milk production?... Drink a lot of fluids, especially WATER! I had the same problem for my first child and had to switch to formula soon, because whatever I ate to improve my milk production, it wasn't much of a relief. For my youngest, my doctor's wife suggested lots of fluids and it really works!! My youngest is going to be 1 now and I still nurse him. Do continue with a good intake of fruits and vegetables too.. you'll be just fine. Happy mothering!!

Sorry!! forgot to mention this... drink atleast one glass of water every hour and before you nurse your baby. It's better to have a water bottle nearby where you are nursing. You can always have a sip while nursing too... that improves production.

Of course it did. I had constipation, obesity and a lot of other problems before. But since I started drinking water like crazy, all my problems are gone. I didn't put on much weight now and I feel light and healthy. I would say Water is a miracle!

When I had my first baby I too worried that I would not have enough milk for him. But I soon learned that the more I nursed and expressed my milk, the more milk I would make. Please do not take offense, but just think of it like a cow. A cow needs to be milked all the time or the cow will dry up too. :P With my second son I had so much milk, I didn't know what to do with it. LOL Good luck!
