Did you work your way through, and did you get a B.A. or a Masters Degree?

It took me four years to get my BA. I only worked during the summers. I would like to go back to school and get a Masters if I only knew what I really wanted to do.

I graduated with BS in Nursing in 4 years with the help of my parents. Meaning, they were the ones who paid for my tuition and allowances. I got some units in MS in Psychology but due to work schedule, I wasn't able to finish it. I got some degree online also. Nice to learn so much in school.

Hmm.. That's 4 years in pre-school. 6 years in primary school. 4 years in college. Then worked for the last 6 years. Then took my Master Degree. Then finished it. So how many years in school? Hmm... 15-16 years. *LOL* What do you mean by 'did you work your way through?' I was a full-student when I studied till college. Then I was already working while going for my Master Degree. *LOL* And am planning to get my Doctorate Degree when I'm aged 33 or 35. =)

Yeah, should I work my way through university and what's my purpose of entering university after having been toiling in my studies for 12 years!! Those questions have been in my mind for one year. As a freshman,I was confused in this one year. Every thing on campus is new to me,but doesn't live up to my expectation to the point that I feel disappointed. Through this summer holiday,I have thought that question fully. Now I find studing English is my greatest target no matter what I major in.I must admit that.So improving my English will be a long process for me. Of course,I must get a Masters Degree. There is no doubt. In this competitive society, you need some papers to prove your ability to the people who don't know your advantages. That's my opinion.

I have spent as much as 14 years of my life in school, right form the nursery,K.G.'s to the 9th , 10th ,11th and 12th. All throughout this very very long journey,I've changed schools, mainly due to my dad's transfer into different cities. However, each and every class has been a pleasure. Cant ever forget school days, the most memorable days of my life. :) At present i'm doing my graduation. But college life isn't as prolific as school life. :(

I took me for 4 years to finish the B.A in my country. I like to go for the further eduction such as a Masters Degree under the scholarship, but there are so many competitors at the final interview.
