I need more than lip gloss to get ready to go out! How about you?

Speaking of morning time routines, a friend of mine swears that she literally rolls out of bed, splashes water on her face and then grabs her purse, lip gloss and sunglasses and is ready for the day! Amazing! Sometimes I think she's telling a big fat fib! No way I could ever be ready so quickly when it comes to my morning time routine. Between facial scrubs and moisturizing and then makeup application, it takes at least 20 minutes to look like a normal person! Not to mention the desperate attempt to get rid of bed hair at six AM! So, how does she explain her amazing ability to slap on some lip gloss and look presentable to the world? Well she doesn't explain it. I guess that's what self confidence will do for you. If you look good and you know it, then you radiate beauty even with the barest of faces! So, what does your morning routine look like? Are you one of those women that can simply slap on some lip gloss and feel beautiful all day? Or, do you go through an entire elaborate beauty regime every morning before showing your face to the world? Please share.

Oh I wish! Just to go to the grocery store takes me an hour of getting ready, if I'm going to be on stage with my band for the night, we're talking at least 2 hours. But I don't rush getting ready either, I like to take my time. If I really had to rush I guess I could be presentable in 45 minutes. I wish I felt comfortable not wearing makeup but my skin is very freckled and uneven, my eyelashes are very light colored so it looks like I have non, same with my eyebrows and I have broken capillaries on my cheeks from a past illness that looks terrible. Makeup is my friend... LOL

Welcome to the makeup club! We hold meetings on Thursday! LOL! I hear you on the makeup thing. If I didn't have mine, I'd look like washed out all the time. If I didn't wear lipstick I'd blend in with the wall. Literally, I'm that pale. It's our secret though, right? LOL!

the only thing i must do is have a shower in the morning i need that water on my head to get me going, other than that yes i'm just slap on some lip gloss kind of girl, and yes i do believe beauty comes from the inside and with that notion comes self confidence. don't get me wrong i like to wear make-up every now and then but i do not rely on it to make me feel good

I get out of the bed by 6:05, use the restroom, brush my teeth, put on my makeup, fix my hair (I wash and fix it at night, so I usually either touch it up with a straightener or mousse), get dressed, fix my lunch, and am out the door by 6:30.

My routine definetelly is not simple. I will wake up and wash my face, brush my teeth, etc. Then I will straighten my hair, just before I apply my makeup. I will use all forms of makeup including foundation, blush, eyeliner, eyeshadow, mascara, lipliner, lipstick, and powder to finish it off!:D I will then throw on some perfume, and I am ready for the day to be presentable. But, if I'm just chilling at home, just a simple face wash and a brushing of the hair will do for me!

It used to take me a long time to get ready but with Senegence everything goes on so smoothly it literally takes me 15 minutes to do may makeup. Now with my hair that is a different story. But my foundation goes on like air brushed so i never have to worry about reapplying and it is so light that it doesn't feel like i am wearing anything. CAss

To me it is not the purpose of looking beautiful that matters the most. Beauty comes second. I am particular about cleanliness. Every morning when I get up I will make sure I have my morning shower. It is a must. I bathe twice a day and here the climate is hot so if I don't bathe I feel uncomfortable. I do all the things needed for beauty like shampoo, facial scrub, moisturising and later combing my hair after shower. I can never splash water on my face and wear lip gloss and ready to go out. Without a shower definitely cleanliness is not taken care of. I bet your friend is not a hygienic person. Lol.

I am just like your friend, wake up, shower if I have time and if I don't, wash my face, brush my teeth, apply moisterizer, lip gloss and I am outtie. I don't wear makeup or much of it at all and when I do its only eye shadow and lip stick. I don't really know how to apply it or what suits my skin tone so its just mainly moisterizer on my face, arms and legs, and lip gloss then hairp up and out the door.!

i don't need too much time to get ready on a usualy day going out.i don't make up every day so the time i need is for prepairing the stuff i need to take in the stroller and so.when i make up i need about 10 minutes.i need a mascara,a lip gloss,is enough jut one, choosing his coulour depending on how i am dressed.sometimes i get also some eyeliner but not very often and only on a special occasion or if i want to feel more sexy.anyway i feel beauty also without make up.sometimes the beauty from inside could be more wanted than the beauty given by the make up

Ha! I wish I could just roll out of bed and put on gloss and go. I have to shower, brush my teeth, do my hair (which is very long), apply make up, including mascara and blush and all the trimmings (but lightly), match my clothes and jewelry, etc. etc. It takes an hour if I RUSH. I usually start way ahead of time and just take my time going step by step. If I HAVE to, I will just wash and dry my hair, put one some concealer (dark circles!), a little blush, mascara, and gloss and go and hate what I look like. I have put make up on in the car if I was really rushing! I work from home usually so I don't have to go trough all that every day. But I am definitely not a get up and go girl. lol.

I am a stay at home mum so when I wake up its not my choice to do so its usually my son jumping on top of me yelling "WAKE UP JEFF" for those who dond know that comes from the wiggles. So my morning starts with brushing my teeth and washing my face and that it. (I dont brush my hair in the morning as it is very long and I do that in the evening and tie it up). If I go out than I put a bid of make up eye liner mascara and lip gloss (and the whole make up if its more than just the local shop)

My morning routine consists of coffee. That to me is the most important thing in the AM besides taking care of the kids! Coffee to me is like make-up to most women. It takes me longer to get the kids ready then myself. If I have taken a shower the night before, I can wake up throw clothes on drink coffee and run out the door! Occasionally I will put make-up on but not often at all. However when I was a coctail server for Harrah's Casino, I wore make-up, but I usually put it on in the locker room after I put my cute uniform on. I can't really explain why I am like this. I'm not sure if it is self confidence or just do not feel like putting make-up on in the morning, probably both!

Right after I woke up, the first thing I do was taking a shower. My day was really not complete if I can't take a bath, then after, I eat my breakfast, combed my hair, wear my uniform, then that was it! I am not really a make up person, I only have a lip gloss but not using it frequently. I only use it when the day is so hot or cold. Plus I don't feel comfortable if I wear make-up so why bother myself. Shower is the only thing I need most.LOL When I have one, I will surely have a great day!

It depends what my day plan is. 10 months of my year, I spend 5 days a week at school. So, usually I wake up in the morning, shower, dry my hair and throw on a bit of eyeliner and I'm out the door. I've got no one to look good for at school, I see no reason to spend an hour getting ready in the morning. If I've got a bigger day planned like a day with my love, or just a busy busy day, I usually just throw on a bit of cover up and some eyeliner(after showering and all that, of course)...But most of the time I just wake up, wash my face and throw my hair back. I see no point in making myself look pretty. No one to look pretty for!

Generally my routine is pretty quick in the mornings. I just jump in the shower, brush my teeth, and get dressed. If I am going somewhere right away, I put mousse in my hair and blow dry it half way, or I brush it really fast and blow dry it half way, and then brush it again. If it's going to be a while (which it usually is, since I have to get my toddler ready, too), I just put the mousse in or brush my hair back into a ponytail, and I'm ready to go. I don't wear any make up at all most days. My husband doesn't like it, so it's much easier to go without than listen to him complain about it!

my morning routine usually takes an hour. LOL i wake up, brush my teeth, take a bath and then the mirror part. ^__^;; i cleanse, i moisturize, facial cream, powder, and then lip gloss/lipstick. i seldom apply make-up. i cant go out with only washing my face and lip gloss. i'd feel too... naked. LOL

after i have my shower, i'll get dressed and have a light breakfast. then i'll do my hair - i permed my hair last year, so sometimes i need to use those curl enhancer lotion kinda thing to define my curls. after that i'll proceed to do my face, just a simple routine because by the time i get my hair done it's already late so i'll be rushing! will put on powder/foundation, concealer, eye shadow, lipstick and lipgloss...and then i'm all set! :P

I'm a complete and total disaster, I just get out of the shower, put some clothes on, and out! I know I should take better care of myself, but I don't like make up at all! Thank god my boyfriend says I'm so beautiful I don't need any, he he, I think he's going blind, poor thing... but I'll be 30 soon and I can't keep pretending I still have a teenager's skin, I have to start caring, I know!!

I love lipgloss however it's still not enough for me to go out with. I need to put on the full face, or at the very lease some face powder, mascarra, blush and lipgloss. I bet your friend just gets up earlier to put a look together that only looks natural, those are always the hardest looks to pull off! I have a friend who says she takes 5 minutes to get ready but the reality is that she wakes up an hour early, blows out her hair and puts on her face.
