Your favorite game as a child

When you were a child, what was your favorite game? For me, it was WaHoo, which is a game very similar to Aggrevation. Four people could play at the same time, so we always got to play a few games when we'd visit our grandparents, as long as we didn't lose the marbles, that is. If you're familiar with Aggrevation, the rules are pretty much the same, but the board decorations were different, as was the board itself. Instead of the foldable cardboard gameboard in todays Aggrevation, this board was made of sturdy wood and had 4 beautiful Indians at each corner. I think this was my favorite because I could always knock out my sisters marbles and send them home without getting into trouble. LOL It's been many years since I've seen a WaHoo game. I'm not sure where my grandparents board disappeared to when they died, but it sure would be nice to track one down. So what game was your childhood favorite?

When my daughter got her first SNES we played that game for many many hours at a time. It was always so hard to turn it off before reaching a save point. :)

My favourite is Pinjin too! Every Chinese girl knows that, and most of us like it and are good at it. You will ask what it is? Well, let me expain: two people stand in the two ends of a tied elastic rope, make it a square, others jump in and out with some set motion. If these one failed, then replace the people who stand in the rope, who can jump too.

I think I played something similar but didn't know the name of it. From what I remember, it was quite fun as long as you have enough people playing. Thanks for explaining. :D

When you were a child, what was your favorite game? Let me see. Lots of girls like playing 'pinjin'in my country. It is easy, but there are lots of kinds to play it. There are at least 3 players, two of them take 'pinjin' in opposite direction, and the left plays on it. Most of time, there are over 6 players, then we work hard to make my team play and play until the bell ring.

My favorite computer game was Oregon Trail. Do you remember when the games were on these HUGE floppy disks?? But my favorite board is Monopoly! But no one would play with me because "the game is too long"

LOL, I never used a computer to play games when they came on the big floppies. I had already gotten married before my dad bought one of the type you're referring to. I went straight from atari to windows 3.1 with the little disks. Now my computer won't even take a disk, which is a little annoying as I had saved everything to disks not realising I wouldn't be able to use them. OOOpppsss. My sisters & I played many, many hours of monopoly. As the oldest, I was always the banker. :D

oh, we played a lot of games, outdoor and indoor, when i was a kid. i'd say my favorite back then was "piko", that's how we call it in our language. i think it's called hopscotch in english. i like it because it's not a very physical game. kids nowadays, don't play games like that anymore. they're usually into video games

I played many games of hopscotch when I was younger. You won't believe how excited I was when I figured out you didn't have to have chalk to make the board. Once I figured out some rocks in our area worked just as well, we could move the game where ever we wanted. :)

Since I more or less baby sat since I was 6 I did things to keep the little ones entertained. And even then I got into trouble for not doing something that I didn't know that I was supposed to do

My grandmother was always yellow, so when we played I was usually red. It was always fun chasing each other around the board to knock the other players marble out before they could get it home safely, lol. :)
