Punishment From Mother Nature

Man's greed for maintaining his material comforts have turned him into brutal exploitation of natural resources . Indescriminate felling of trees have resulted in soil erosion and floods. Most of our modern amenities are at the expense of disturbing of nature's balance . Ecology is being disregarded and we are sure to get ourselves punished for the sins that are being committed to sweet NATURE.Behold lest you are doomed . a great lesson to be learnt to avoid nature playing havoc with the entire humanity.

In the last two centuries mankind has damaged biosphere more than in all its previous existence. At first it was done without knowing what the consequences of that damage would be. But nowadays, most of us know about it, specially political and economical leaders. Nevertheless, few things are done to stop it and many of these are done "pour la gallerie", as the French say.

Nature is getting here own back on many now. It's just a shame that the people who suffer are never the people at the top who make the decisions. We can all play a part in helping the environment but without the governments of the world joining together and making an effort, the efforts of the individuals won't make a big difference.

Yes I have responded to something of this sort before and the people that take the trees with no regard to nature by replanting ought to be fined or something. My father in law used to log but they would go thro a track of timber and only take a certain size and leave the rest to grow for another time

And after all of the destruction of the natural resources has occurred, everyone wonders why the weather has changed, or why there are more landslides, etc. We need to learn to leave well enough alone, or at least be more conscientious in our actions.

this imbalance of nature can be seen everywhere. Now a days there are no seasons, they are getting disturbed , it doesn't rain in the rainy season and when the time is gone it rains in such a way that all the crops etc get destroyed. This will go still worst if we don't take proper steps to cotrol the exploitation of nature.

You are quite right. What goes around, comes around. There is no way humans can keep on using Earths resouces with out there being some consequences. People forget this you know... that there are consequences for everrything we do.

Dear sukumar794, You are 100% right. Every human being understands the truth as you understand. But unfortunately when a individual feel by destroying the nature they get monetary benefits they do not consider it is wrong to adopt that method. At that time, the individual would argue, by taking a bucket of water from ocean, the ocean water is not going get reduced. By adopting this sort of argument everybody destroy the nature.
