It was actually one of the ads up the top of the mylot screen so i thought i'd check it out. i don't know, but this seems a bit cruel. I figured that the bird in the picture is plastic. It says in the item description "now you can take your bird for a walk!" Um, I don't think birds like to go for 'walks'. This is stupid.

LOL..I have seen this before..It does seem a bit silly..I would presume that it is for, if is is sitting on you or outside that it cannot fly away...Why not, just tug it back...I agree it seems a bit cruel...

I agree. That looks pretty stupid. Birds don't go for walks. Some breeds of bird can get very attached to their owner and they will sit on your shoulder. That seems like a much better way to go for a walk!! Besides, good luck getting that thing on and off!!

LOL - while I agree taking a bird for a walk is funny sounding I actually think the harness is a bit neat. If you have a bird in a cage in your house and you want to let them out for fresh air and exercise it's a good idea. The bird can't go too far and you know it won't get 'lost'. It's not that different from dog, cat, and ferret harnesses. It's made to not hurt the bird in anyway.

I had a look at your link. I have never heard of a bird walking harness. It's a bit ridiculous really. I wonder what the poor bird thinks of it?

I have to say that I agree with you. What a stupid concept. First of all, birds don't walk, the hop when on the ground but mostly they like to fly. Taking them outside with such a thing is a bit cruel. I hope the item is a total flop for the maker and seller.
