Its fepend on the country! But in Asian country,especially east country,rap and pop are ruling the chart ,than the other genre!

I love rock music but probably not the same rock as you, I love the music of the 60's and especially Aussie Rock from the 60's, I have my radio on the one station all the time that plays this music, I don't think rock music from the 60's will ever die.
