Cheap cookware?

I have heard that Calphalon cookware is the best, but since I've never tried it I can't be sure if that's true. With that being said, I'd like to locate a Calphalon pan at a reduced price so that I could try out the brand before investing into a large set of mystery pots and pans. Have you ever used Calphalon cookware pans before? Are they any good? Does anyone know where I can locate cheap or lower priced Calphalon pans? Would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!

I have heard calphalon is the best also. I have not had the cash to buy a good set yet. We are moving to a new house soon so I was thinking I would take a couple hundred dollars from the equity in our home and buy a nice set. It would be nice to have a good set of pans that we wont need to replace in a year. I will have some in a few months and then I will tell you what I think of them.

How about E-bay?? Have you tried there yet- or even an e-bay store- I’d also check amazon.com- they have people selling on that site also- I’ve never used the brand before.

I have used this brand before. I found that you can find top line cookware at stores like Marshalls and TJ Maxx at discounted prices. I have seen all kinds of brands there like Teflon, Calphalon, Rachael Ray and more.
