I was disappointed that Rock won Hells Kitchen as I did not like him from the beginning. He has a serious temper issue and certainly would not to work for him. I think Bonnie was more deserving to win as she improved week by week and does not have the same experience as Rock. I liked Bonnie's restaurant much better than Rocks. Hopefully Bonnie will get an opportunity somewhere.

I am actually glad Rock won as well. I thought that he did have some issues, but that he was the most consistent through the competition and made some great moves through the competition. The finale showed why I think Bonnie was just a little too inexperienced for the position. She ran out of prepped food halfway through the service, something that you can never really afford to do. Meanwhile, Rock was able to make the tough decision, ultimately after Chef Ramsay's strong suggestion, to take Josh off the fish station. One thing I did notice about Bonnie and Rock was different approaches to the final service. Even though both Rock and Bonnie wanted it badly for themselves, it was how they approached the final service that made a difference. Bonnie was always saying things like "am I losing MY team?" or "don't mess this up for me" or things along those lines. We all know Rock was thinking that, too, at times, but he was also very vocal about being a team and did a lot of "we" talking to the guys. He gave them ownership in the kitchen as well, something I am sure other sous chefs would appreciate. I think Rock will be a good executive chef. He wanted it so badly, he was so driven. I love that he was so driven by his family to succeed and to give them the life he wanted for them. I will personally be more than happy to go check out his restaurant next time I am in Vegas.
