Oh it's so good to be back - do you feel like that when you have been away?

"Oh it's good to be back" Funny how that phrase can mean so much to so many people in so many situations.
For me, at the moment, it is good to be back on line and reading all the discussions I have missed and looking in on old friends here.
It's good to be back home after a fraught few weeks,
It's good to be back where I feel secure and comfortable,
It's good to be back where I can relax, and
It's good to be back where I belong.
So, what situations do you find yourself in when you can say "It's good to be back"

HIYA RECYCLED!!!! Welcome back ;-) What are situations when I say "its good to be back" Whenever I've been to Canada to my home region....as much as I like going home and being on familiar ground etc etc I have so many horrid memories there its nice to get back to my stuff, my pets my husband etc ya know...sleep in my own bed and be in a place where I feel safe and secure if that makes sense....
As for online situations goes, when I've been away from a forum where I have friends but havent been able to log in due to being on vacation or my comp dying etc etc then that phrase would definately come into play :-D

Absolutely right hun, sleeping in my own bed again is wonderful after a break away. Good to be back here too, and catching up. :-)

I don't feel too comfortable getting out right now and even a trip to the supermarket exhausts me so much I am glad to get home and lie down! Also when I was in hospital, even though I was treated very well I was still so very glad to be home! I am so glad you are back and I hope everything is well with you! Hugs xxx

It is so good to be back home to enjoy my relaxing life with my family. It is so good to back to my computer to work for a few hours. It is so good to be back to check emails from mylot friends and response to their discussions. It is so good to be back to stay next to the TV for my favorite programmes. Above all, it is the best to have you as my new friend on mylot. Thanks very much for accepting me as your friend.

Welcome back pal. Hope you had a good break and that you're all refreshed to participate in myLot discussions again.
I can honestly say that when I'm on holiday and come back online to sites where I have regular contact with people, I really enjoy catching up with things like discussions, reviews, articles, etc and finding out what people have been up to. I guess you could say we're addicts to these online communities we belong and we feel like we're missing good friends when we're away, do you agree? x
