I am a lawyer but I am willing to work as a paralegal in Vancouver. Is that a hard thing to do? Who should I contact?

I'm am moving North in the near future myself and i didn't even think of Vancouver until you mentioned it here... Thanks for jogging my memory of this great option. here is a Moving To Vancouver link that might be of use: http://www.visitorstocanada.com/movingtovancouver.html There are some Mylotters who are Vancouver and BC natives, so you might get a Human answer... that always the best kind... Good luck to you and I hope that your move goes well and that your career is a successful one, too! :)

Thank you very much, Peaceful! I am sure going to visit this site. As for Vancouver, keep this city in your list of options. I loved it when I stayed there for 30 days. Nice people, beautiful city, great weather (ok, I got just one rainy day). Thanks again for answering.

I'm a fisherman, so I don't mind rainy days! :) Vancouver would be an excellent choice for me, given that it's still kind of urban/rural and the the business climate is more or less modern... tech based businesses are welcome as well as traditional service jobs... although I'm still not up on the employment opportunity figures, but then again, my biz is web-based... which I believe after seven years is a great way to go for almost any profession! :)

Funny you should mention that. I just came back from there about a week ago. Mind you, it was only a week but both Vancouver and Victoria were really nice places...although I also heard they're also quite expensive as well...and I happened to luck out with the weather too. :)
