People tend to have different beliefs as to what true love is. I would like to know what you think true love means?

I think true love is loving someone more than yourself and not only that, but loving them in spite of their faults and mistakes. The love between a parent to a child is the best example of true love I find...a child can drive you crazy, break things, keep you up at night, etc. yet you'd feed him/her with your onliest dollar and stay hungry yourself. Love that supercedes the self, in my opinion, is true love.

Yeah you're right. Love is doing whatever is necessary for the welfare of that special someone. :)

I think true love is loving another person more than yourself. You need to have a deep and personal connection. Trust is an important aspect to true love I believe. I also think a good example of true love would be a parent to a child. True love is about being forgiving.
