maybe you hate their sense of style, their choice of boyfriend or girlfriend, maybe you want totell them you love them or want them or that they are toxic in your life and you can't be friends?

One thing I'd really like to say to a friend is to pause for even a short time in every situation that comes in life and think that THERE IS ALWAYS A BETTER WAY! Whatever will be the outcome of my friend's action will greatly depend on that short time if my friend would think of that better way.

This would be great advice for your friend. And if one does pause and quiets their mind enough, their intuition will speak both clearly and wisely!

I believe that love is a decision; we don't just "fall" in love. We choose. So what I wanted to tell my bestfriend when she chose to hook up (or fall in love) with my ex- over our friendship was this: "I thought what they said about people from your province being traitors wasn't true. I was wrong." But well, God has commanded us to love -- even the unloveable and I know that He is FAIR to everyone. And because He is merciful, we should also be merciful. :)

... another thing that I wanted to tell her was: "I never thought you were so insecure." thanks for posting this discussion, artemis. it really helped me vent out my deep-seated resentments. I knew I've forgiven her but it's really difficult to forget. I am always praying, asking God to make me want to forget...

Right now i have one friend that i want to dump completely out of my life. I cannot believe how self-centered she is and that i never saw it for almost 15 years! I think I will give her one more chance but then I will have had enough.

Its hard when friends are toxic. Yet if we've known them awhile we feel loyal. Hard thing to go thru and deal with. Important though for our well being.

Please don't cave in and go back to that guy. He's very detrimental to you and he is a constant liar. You know this yet you keep going back. I don't know if I can hang around and watch if you end up with him again. That is what I want to say but haven't....yet.
