of course not. the entire country..id bet on even his own supporters too, would rise up in such protest that the whole thing would be torn to pieces. totally absurd.

unfortunatly i cant get that link for the article to load up for some reason. i can understand martial law for a major castrophe but for the sole purpose of keeping him in office..well i would sincerely HOPE there was a "revolution" if he tried!! if there wasnt..shoot if there wasnt i dont even know what that would mean. americans are not that complacent.

It is possible he could try but it wouldn't work. Too many Republicans don't support him anymore.

Unfortunately as of May 9th there is already legislature in place that would enact Martial Law if we have another catastrophe.
