all are telling nokia batteries were damaged.is it true?

hey friends i hear about nokia batteries some thing bad.some one telling the 4.6 crores batteries or not working.is it true?

ya its true scenario is tht one of supplier of nokia battery named as matushita inc. of japan has made some battery which have some technical snag due to which it become hot on charging nd explode.all bl-5c battery are not having the same problem its only in those which r made by matushita inc

yes it is true.. dey are the BL 5C batteries of nokia.. they are showing on the news dat if u charge dese batteries dey are blasting.. but u can check whether ur battery is one of them or not by logging on to nokia.com n den u need to enter the 26 characters alphanumeric written at the back of your battery and it will tell whether ur battery is fine or not..

There is an ongoing recall of the batteries Made by Matsushita company in Japan. My fathers' cellphone who bears the same model of battery was the one given the opportunity to have the batteries replaced. He said that he gave his address and a new battery will be dlivered to him in the adress he gave on the nokia website.

No. there is a certain model number of battery BL-5C and a batch number that seems to overheat when charged. There are lots of nokia phones that uses this battery, but only a certain batch is damaged. If you want to know more about this, its on http://www.nokia.com/batteryreplacement/en/

yes.. the products created in an asian country has a defect.. they are recalling all the batteries having a certain number at the back.. i just dunno if it is cl-bh6 or whatsoever.. they want to surrender these batteries to any nokia centers and they will replace your battery for free..
