Passions to be Shown on Internet

Just when I had began the process of withdrawing from Passions due to its move to Direct TV, I learned that it will be streamed at NBC.com after 6:00 in the evenings. That's great news to me. Maybe now I won't have to give up my Passions after all.

I am on the NBC Website right now and this is what it says now.
I can't get DIRECTV. Will I still be able to watch "Passions" episodes online or on iTunes?
No, "Passions" will only be available exclusively on DIRECTV's Channel 101.
I believe on September 17th the show won't be online.
Beginning Thursday, August 23, be sure to tune in to Passions LIVE!, airing exclusively on the 101 on DIRECTV. Hosted by PASSIONS star, Eric Martsolf, this live call-in show will feature your favorite PASSIONS stars. Fans will have the unique opportunity to call in and talk live with the cast members, learn about the history of the show and find out what’s in store for the new season on DIRECTV.
New episodes of Passions LIVE! will air at 8pm ET/5pm PST on Thursdays – August 23, August 30, September 6 and September 13. I think this is being done to try getting more viewers before the change.

Thank you for the update, Fishmomma. It seems I got my info from the wrong source. I guess I will have to abandon Passions since I will not order DirecTV to view one show. I hope the show will continue on though. Maybe I can keep up with what's going on through the forum at TV.com.

I am glad to hear this. I was also wondering what I was going to do without my show. I can not afford to get Direct TV. I have been watching this show since day one. It is hilarious. I love to watch Tabitha and all the crazy things she gets into. The costumes and set designs are great. There is so much imagination on this show.

Well, royal, don't get too happy just yet. I was just informed that they will only be showing Passions on DirecTV. I cannot afford it either, so I will just have to do without it.

I am so glad that I found this. I though I was going to have to give up my favorite soap. I didn't know that it would be shown on the internet. So now my time on here will be divided just so that I can keep up with Teresa, Ethan, Lous, Fancy and Sheridan.
