The Meaning of Colours of the Indian Flag

The Indian Flag is made up of three colours, with a circle and 24 spikes in the centre. Do you know the deep meaning that goes into these colours and circle. The topmost is saffron for Blood, shed by martyrs during the fight for Independence, then comes white which stands for Peace and Green stands for Fertility. The Ashoka Chakra in the centre with 24 spikes reminds us to do good deeds all the 24 hours of the day. I am very proud to be an Indian.
