Do you guys enjoy a clean house?

Yes you are very right,a nd a clean house brings in positive energys all around you and your house too,and we feel alive and active in a clean house as well. I also wonder as to how people manage to survive in dirty houses. But again it depends from person to person. If someone is happy in their dirty home and it makes them feel they are very much at home, let them be, its their choice. Yes if we do go there, we feel its dirty, but for those who like and live in it, its their happy home, we are no ones to judge i guess. And somehow the people in dirty houses are at home in their house too, they feel strange when they see a clean house!! But for me, a clean happy house, that makes me feel invited and comfortable at all times, is my home sweet home :)

With 3 kids it is so hard to keep it that way but yeah, sure I like it that way..lol I feel better when my house is cleaned, less stressed out I guess. but its like as soon as I get it cleaned these 3 little tornado's run through and destroy it all over again..

Neither my fiance nor I are very organized people. The house is not a pigsty, but it's not exactly immaculate either. We are happy, and cleaning doesn't take up all of our free time, like it does for other people that we know.

I enjoy a clean house too, but sometimes between work and the kids, I would rather not have people "popping" by. LOL I do keep my house clean, although the kids try to thwart my attempts by strewing legos and dinosaurs throughout. My ex step mom was not a very clean person at all. Their house was always dirty and they had 3 dogs and many cats. But she was not depressed nor isolated. She was/is very happy and outgoing, just not very good at housework or cooking, etc. So I don't really think that by just looking at someone's house you can tell whether or not they are depressed. My mother is a very clean almost neurotic person about cleaning. And she is one of the most depressed, isolated and generally nasty people I know.

Exactly! You're right...sis. I also get annoyed if my sorruondings are messy. I feel like aaaaarrrggggghhhhhhhh!....LOL I really love an organize and clean house. But waaahhhhh...my younger brothers are so messy so I easily get irritated and I manage to put things in order again. :)
