Do you have an animal - not just cats - who wake you up in the morning?

I actually have a strange but regular morning "routine". Every morning at 6:02, I wake up and go to the toilet, then I hop back into bed and sleep until my alarm goes off at 7, which usually doesn't get me up, and then within 10 minutes, Mia is scratching and crying at the door and I get up to cuddle and feed her. Thus my day truly begins =D

What a sweet, relaxing way to begin your day! We have a cat in the neighborhood that has adopted us. But he sprays in the house. So we don't let him in. Daniel wants to take him to the vet to get him nuetered (supposed to help with spraying) and get him his shots before he's around the baby - he's sooooooooo good with the baby.

I know its total ewwness. But he's so sweet. And when the baby "pets" the cat - by patting him hard - we trying to teach him to be nice - I think since so many people pat babies on the back he thinks it nice - and I move the cat out of reach - kitty just moves right back to the baby. When he was allowed to visit us in the house, when we just met him, he would go right to Robert when he came in. If Robert and I were napping on the bed, he'd try and sleep right next to him. I love you story about how Mia chose you. Our baby chose the cats name kinda - the cat was meowing and I was meowing back and Robby says. "meow meow" - but more like the name of the communist leader.

Naww. Mia picked us out when we first met her. We got her from a friend's litter, and the first time we went there she woke up, jumped onto my lap, looked me hard in the eyes, and fell asleep. There was no turning back =P Eew@spraying =P

Only the cats are my alarm clock, but they never work properly. They always seem to be a few hours fast...Hmmm Must get them checked one day...

No other animals, just two cats wake me up every morning. My Columbus cat and Waffles cat jump on the bed and walk around. Finally, Waffles thumps her fat body next to mine and lays still until I get up. I don't mind this, as my cats are a big comfort to me and I love them all dearly.

Awe, and practical too, I bet you're not late in the mornings! You should show some pictures of your kitties!
