well, having 3 kids and a crappy family, I think I can say that I do have stress! a LOT of it! Try relaxing.. maybe by taking a bath with some soft music. maybe sit and read a book or something. take a walk at a park or sit at the beach. lay down take a nap. try taking a break from the people/things that are causing the stress in the 1st place if possible.

Sometimes when I feel so streesed out, I cry, that is my way of releasing stress. Well I think it's pretty normal, some people do that too especially when you are very tired and problematic.

THere are two things taht affects person and lead to stress. Attitude: The attitude of an individual can influence whether a situation or emotion is stressful or not. Having a negative attitude can predict stress in a person, because this type of person will often report more stress than would someone with a positive attitude. Physical well-being: A poor diet places the body in a state of physical stress and a weakened immune system. As a result, the person can be more susceptible to infections. A poordiet can be related to unhealthy food choices, not eating enough, or an unpredictable eating schedule. A nutritionally unbalanced eating pattern can result in not getting enough nutrients. Positive thinking.Refocus the negative to be positive.Make an effort to stop negative thoughts.Plan some fun. Take a break.Start an individualized program of physical activity. Most experts recommend doing 20 minutes of aerobic activity 3 times per week.Decide on a specific time, type, frequency, and level of physical activity. Make this dedicated time fit into your schedule so it can be part of your routine.Find a buddy to exercise with -- it is more fun and it will encourage you to stick with your routine. You do not have to join a gym -- 20 minutes of brisk walking outdoor will do the trick.

The temporary solution to beat the stress is constant introspection and filling yourself with positive energy. Permanent solution is meditation. Do not escape from the feelings which lead you to stressful situations. Just be with the feelings and they will surely get diluted and then eliminated.

Stress, when this thing attack me, I feel not so good, but I still can do something. When I feel really stress, I just go hang around with friends, go walking here and there, doing whatever things that come into my mind. Play games, eat a lot of things, and drink a lot of water, talk much than usual. Yeah, you need someone to talk, someone you feel comfortable with, and talk whatever things that make you feel so stress. The most important thing is, do whatever you can to release the stress. No, this is not the proper way to overcome stress actually, but it sometimes works for me:-)

you can try going to the gym, and get the endorphins going. sweating it out would give you a good feeling, plus slows down your body to rest afterwards.

when i cannot sleep i sometimes makes poems with very deep meanings or with old langauages, thinking of words with deep meanings that rhymes helps the mind get away from the world of reality

Maybe you could consider listening to some soothing piano music? I use to listen to piano music if i feel stress. Think of nothing and just pamper yourself with the smoothness of the music, soon you'll get to sleep. Or you could try to take deep breaths, straight to the diagphram. Repeat it a few times. You will feel less tight. Then try to sleep. Hope it helps =)

For me if I couldn’t sleep because of much stress or worry I always try to do some relaxing physical exercise like swinging hands for about half an hour even in deep night. After that I then do some more relaxing activities like writing and simple sketching just to make the time occupied. By doing this I will soon get tired and feel sleepy. I always try not to force myself to sleep as this could always get the reversed effect.

There are many ways to reduce tension and relax. One of them is doing Breathing Exercises. Deep breathing is an easy stress reliever that has numerous benefits for the body, including oxygenating the blood, which ‘wakes up’ the brain, relaxing muscles and quieting the mind. Breathing exercises are especially helpful because you can do them anywhere, and they work quickly so you can de-stress in a flash. I also like to listen to music. When dealing with stress, the right music can actually lower your blood pressure, relax your body and calm your mind. Here are some suggestions of different types of music to listen to, and how to use music in your daily life for effective stress management.
