Dark circles

Does anyone know of any good remedy to cure dark circles under the eyes? I don't think dark circles is a skin problem, so no skin-care product will treat this problem. Am I correct in this thinking? What I wish to know is any remedy to treat the roots of this problem, not just cover up its presence.

My mother used to say that the dark circles meant I had a lack of iron in my system. I'm not sure if that is entirely accurate, but I have noticed that when I eat right and take my vitamins, they do seem to diminish. I use a light eye cream twice a day as well, which probably doesn't help in of itself but applying it might help increase the blood circulation aroundthe eye (just be gentle!)

Lack of iron? Hmmm....that's the first I've heard about. I gotta watch my diet, and take those vitamins! Eye cream? I'm the sort who doesn't quite believe in skincare products treatment. Thanks for your great advice.

Try putting freshly cooled slices of cucumber into them for 15 minuntes. I do not know if you are woman then make up does the whole difference. You must be stressed regurly and that may be the reason. Try to relax your eyes and do not stay up late.

Does the "cucumber treatment" really work? How long must one apply this form of treatment? 15mins on a daily basis? For how many days? I guess relaxing the eyes and getting plenty of sleep is good practice to prevent those dark circles from getting darker!

I wish I knew that also. I have tried so many creams to try to get rid of mine. I even use skin lighting cream. I might try cucumbers and see if they work. Good discussion.
