hey dudes n dudettes, All the mobiles, almost all, come with a camera. And the resolution being dependent on the price. How many of you developed interest in photography after buying it and how many of you bought it because you had interest in it? Is a camera, really necessary in a mobile?

For me its necessary since I dont have a digicam. Its handy because I bring only one gadget and it can be a camera, mo3 player and cell phone at the same time. But if your into photography this is not useful for you.

I actually like having camera on my phone... I never used to but now I've been using it for few years, I find myself using it more & more, espcially for convinience reasons... For some people, yes, I do think it's necessary to have some sort of camera & it makes it easier for them to carry it with them... I used to know an insurance claim adjuster... He tells me most of his co-workers would carry laptop, camera, cell. phone & palm pilot with them when they go out to asess the damage claim or accident claim... He has blackberry with camera on it... He has all the appointments & email system rolled into one & has camera... He goes out, takes snap shot with his phone, emails it to himself, goes back to his office & prints it, files it & shoots it over to claim dept... So, yeah... Having a camera on a cell. phone definiately have advantages for some people...
