How many of you customize your PHOTOS?

As in cropping, enhancing the coloring, changing it to black and white or sepia tone... I've just started doing this and have a few really nice programs to work with. I've been able to take ordinary snapshots and turn them into frameworthy prints. It's a lot of fun too!If you've never done this or don't want to, feel free to tell us why. For those of you who do customize photos, share what things you do to them and post your favorite if you like! This is one of my favorites...

I love to customize my pictures. I like to use Photoshop so when I have the chance I play with the pictures.

Hi dear friend, I am using my mobile for taking snapshots.. My mobile is nokia 6233.. It has two mega pixel camera.. Also have that modes you had said.. On starting its automatically set to auto mode.. It also have high clarity.. But when we put it into daylight mode.. Its clarity again increases.. It take effect while on sunlight.. The true colour of the picture will get when we put it into daylight mode... I usually take picture using this mode.. But as like you, i am not use that sepia mode.. But i use greyscale mode.. Its some thing like black and white... Nokia 6233 also have a negative mode.. Its also fun.. Can make our friends blur.. Nice.. The picture can be taken upto a resolution of 1600x1200.. It also have a sequence on option... It is used to take more pictures of a moment.. Three pictures are get when we put it in 1600x1200 resoluting.. When we put it into 320x240, 8 pictures can be taken at a glance... Thats all dear friend.... Thank you...

That's relly neat that you can do all of that with your phone. I just have a very basic cell that doesn't take pictures.

yes I do! my programme of choice is kodak gallery. it allows for the addition of borders, changing colours - sepia is great, as you have found out. it allows me to make things black and white, add effects and elminate red-eye effects. before ordering prints. so that's fun. thanks for this discussion!

Your Welcome! Kodak gallery is definitely very user friendly. Of the ones I have it's my preferred program. I love the cartoon and coloring book effects. I printed off a bunch on regular paper and my little ones got a kick out of coloring themselves!

I have adobe photoshop and that's what I use most often. Unfortunately my current photoshop isn't allowing me to edit and I can't figure out why and I can't find the disk! so I have to downgrade I think. But anyhow, I do like to alter photos. I just think black and white makes all photos classic. I do sepia once in a while and I love to add a slight blur to photos. I enhance certain colors and things like that too. It's fun and makes photos a little more artsy!

I've got Kodak photoshare and whatever was on the disk I got when I developed film at Walmart. They're both probably somewhat basic but still have plenty for a beginner like me to play around with. Hope you get your photoshop figured out soon!

You should give it a try sometime. It's not hard to do basic effects and you'll probably have a lot of fun doing it!
