I'm wondering about pictures here. when I go to post I see that you must have the right to post pictures - yet I see cartoons and amazing photographs some of which I recognize from the web. What's the deal with photographs - do we really get a lot of money for pictures - I got 1 penny for a few pictures I posted Saturday...and where do mylotters go to get pictures they're allowed to repost elsewhere?

There really are tough issues here. People here in MyLot seem to "cheat" to get money. Also, there's a lot of sites online where you can "get" pictures that you can post here. I'm not into photos, so why bother? But I think this issue is getting some kind of "out of hand". It's really unfair when you try hard and other people cheat.

You have some great points here. It is possible in life to get ahead without resorting to underhanded methods. I try to just focus on me, and what I'm doing - I do believe in Karma. What you do, positive or negative comes back to you 10 fold. I'm glad you choose the high road - much better view!

Actually the purpose of the picture is to make your view clear with text post. For example I am now explaining you about the purpose of picture and I also post some purpose relating picture with it then you understand my meaning clearfully and it also make a kind of impression. But in case your picture not relating with the text then they not gonna pay lot for it.

So how do you find pictures you have the RIGHT to use - that you own the copyright for or that doesn't have one? The warning comes up each time - makes sure you have the right to use this picture... Thanks for the ready response.

yeah i see pics posted here on mylot that i know belong to someone else or somewhere else. but mylot cannot actually "police" the copyrights..they put that clause in the rules so they are released of liability..it is the poster's responsibilty to gain the permission needed in order to post the pic. however most ppl do not even try to get permission, they just go ahead and use it. and since the internet is so vast, chances are that the person or company that actually does own the copyright will never actually see it and press charges.
