Do you still have a drive-in movie theater where you live?

if there is a drive-in where you live, do you still go? We have a drive-in theater with 6 movie screens. They play two movies on each screen & its $6.00 for 12 and up. 12 & under is free. So we find it cheaper to go there. The only thing I don't like is that people are not careful when they are driving thru and with so many kids, I"m always worried about them hitting someone. I also don't like all the teenagers that go. We actually had someone come up & offer us drugs once.

We have one drive in theatre. We used to have two but the one closed. Our drive in is fairly big. They show two and some times three movies a night. The drive in is only open on the weekend. They charge about $8.00 per person. They also charge you $8.00 to $10.00 if you are bringing in your own food or drinks. If they find you brought your own food or drink without paying they will have you leave the drive in. To buy food at the stands is costs you triple what you pay any where else. The driving is not bad however, the lot has never been paved and as the cars go by you can see rocks being thrown around. For the most part everyone is trying to watch out for kids. I do not think that this should be strickly something that a driver should have to do. I think if you are a parent you should make sure your child is not running around the drive in since it is nothing but a big parking lot. It is a shame that most parents do not know where their children are when they go to these drive ins. Any way I have not been in a few years. Where I live the bathrooms are not so nice. By the time you are starting the second movie two out of four toilets don't flush or have over flown. The smell is terrible. I think I will just wait for the movie to come out on dvd and rent it, so that I can sit in the comfort of my own home and really enjoy the movie.

Wow, you can't bring your own food in, that's pretty strict. I remember my mom making homemade snacks and bringing them with us. That was part of the reason why we went, to save money on things like that.

We still have one here. We went last summer and saw Jackass 2. It was a lot of fun. I would have liked to go again this year. It's a nice way to see a movie and be able to take my son and get him used to the size of the screen and volume, I think.

We have a drive-in in my city but it is almost abandoned. No one goes there, unless they want do you know what. They say that the scream is the biggest in my country, but still the place is in a really bad situation.

There is a drive in, but it's in the next city over - an hour's drive away. So I've never been. I don't know what it's like, but my friend often goes with her husband, and she really likes it.

We still have a drive in close to where we live. its about 30 min away. We still go but we haven't been in awhile. it keeps getting sold and changing hands and for awhile it was closed down. last time we were there it was like $5 per person. We're hoping to make it there this summer if they get good movies in.

We have one drive-in here, with 4 screens (in a city of nearly 1 million people). Like you, I like that it is much less expensive. I also share your concerns about the driving.

We don't have a drive-in movie theater. We only have one movie theater and it is a pretty good one.
