Yeah the reponse is the same...when have fever eat porridge is easier for digestion and porridge has more fluid. But no...my husband will still eat curry and rice even if he is not well!!! Strong stomache he has. And he gets well. :PLease do not try this at home. If you do this is at your own risk !!!

LOL, yes, seems that your husband can eat anything even he is not well. Not for me, I just have to eat porridge. It is easy for me to digest it.

When you have a fever, the diet should be more of fluid and at frequent intervals during the first two to three days of fever. The fluid intake must be liberal to compensate for the losses from the sweat and to permit adequate volume of urine for excreting the wastes. So I guess eating porridge will be better for digestion and rapid absorption.

I think that it is because when we are having a fever, our stomach just loves to have something easily digested and some fluid stuff. And porriage is just of this kind. I have some porriage and noodles when I have a fever. I don't want to have anything oily when suffering from a fever and I need to sleep a long time during which I can get recovered sooner after taking some medicine for the fever.
