Would you do a BUNGEE JUMP? Or have you ever done it?

I would really love to do a bungee jump, but everyone in my family decrlares me crazy, and are totally unsuportive in this. My partner doesn't want to let me do it, using as excuse that I will definitely hurt myself, as I have weak bones, and this was one of the reasons that I wasn't able to go and do parachute jumping. Has any of you done it, and what was your expirience?

I would do a bungee jump and the parachute jumping. I have been wanting to visit Australia one day and do both of the things. I saw in the news the other day that a 90-year old lady did a parachute jumping and I really admire her! I don't want to wait that long before doing it *laughs*. But I hope after I have saved up, I would have enough courage to do it!

Hiya Wondericequeen, and am glad to meet an other thrill-seeker like myself :) Hopefully you'll get there soon,in Australia and will be able to do both, and don't worry beforehand if you'll dare or not, as the wish to go and do might bring it to you before you know! God Bless

Hi Apple, and thanks for your jumping in this discussion too :) I hope you'll do soon both - skydiving (parachute jumping) and bungee jumping as well, and your morale will go higher, you'll see :)

Well dear TerryZ, maybe you are telling yourself that you're a chicken, which keeps you frightened? Don't do it if you dont want it - but could I do it for 3 please? :)

Sadly, I haven't been to any place where they have bunjee jumps in it. But I would love to try it, for me to conquer my fear of such heights and also to feel the adrenaline rush!;) Nothing would make me more happy if someone would also give me a money for dare, not that's what being CRAZY is all about!LoL I love to try some of the extreme sports, but I believe that it has to take a lot of money and time to spend some at.

Hi Raijin, thanks for jumping in the discussion :) And if you really want it - you'll be able to do it some day, believe in it! And it is not cheap here either, soI was thinking that some of my family would give it as a BD present, but as I said in the earlier post of mine, they are NOT SUPPORTIVE, and isn't this such a pity :(

Oh my - no - it would terrify me! My friend's son did it once - off a very tall building in Vienna. I went with him because she was too scared to go, but I was scared too, and couldn't go up the building with him in the end. I have no head for heights, and a very strong sense of self-preservation - so it is definately not for me!!

Hi Rosie, no problem with me at all that you're not a thrill-seeker, for me it suffices that you're a cat lover like me :)

I would love to go bungee jumping. I had the opportunity my Junior year in high school but didn't have the funds. I was on a trip to Myrtle Beach with the marching band. A friend even went around taking pledges for donations to help me go bungee jumping with another member of the band, but didn't raise enough money. Ah well, eventually. I'd also love to go sky diving someday. Wouldn't mind doing some small mountain/rock climbing.

Hi Wiccania, thanks for jumping in this discussion, and yeah, it is pricey stuff bungee jumping and such, and so unfortunate for us thrill-seekers at heart :) I'd love to do the skydiving and mounting climbing but cannot unfortunately as my ancles and legs go broken from almost nothing, and last time it happened from just getting up from the chair behind my desk! My leg was asleep and i didn't know it, so when i got up my ancle broke at 3 different places. It was a terrible expirience really, and it took me 9 months and a surgery twice + physio-therapies to get my leg at the same stage as it was before. You have no idea how much I long to fly, to fly really, and to do stuff like sky-diving and bungee jumping, and glider rides, etc

You wouldn't catch me bungee jumping. I'll go up with ya but will come down the normal way, with my feet firmly planted on the ground. lol I won't watch either.

when i see it on tv i do feel tempted to try it in real life. but as far as i know one needs to be physically fit to do bungee jumping, and should not have extra pounds. unfortunately i am fat. but now i am trying to shed some pounds, so i guess if i become slim, then no matter what, i'll try it at least once in my life...thats for sure..

I have done it too, I also have weak bones and I survived without getting hurt. if you really want to do it why don't you, it is your decsion in the end. Or just do it and don't tell your family till after you did it

Hi Mistissa, thanks for replying :) And yeah, I suppose I could do that, however it is no where near where I live, so if I go on my own I will be gone for an entire day, and it wont be even fun, and no one will be there to take a video of it happening, and this is something that I would really like to have - a video shot of my jump :)
