I Just open up my AOL and found a catchy title;"Simon Cowell leaving American Idol. So i had to investigate because Mr. Cowell makes American Idol what it is. He is raw and real in his responses. Some people can not handle the truth so don't need to exist on the planet. Or should I say constructive criticism. What is your opinion?

I love Simon Cowell and after reading your title I had to investigate myself. I was relieved to see he won't be leaving for awhile yet. I think by that time American Idol will be finished anyways unless they change the voting in some way.

I dissagree with you (sorry) but people complain about the voting every single year and the ratings continue to go up. so I dont think the voting issues will ever affect the show but if simon was to leave then maybee.

You think? That is like when i heard Bob Barker from Price is right was retiring. I forget who is taking his place. The show will not be the same without Bob. If Simon leaves the show will get low ratings, just my opinion.

I Love Simon. He has become the main reason I think I continue to watch the Show week after week. He usually tells it like it is, and most of the time I truly agree with his opinion. I just think it is Great when some of the contestants take it to heart, and use it like they should to improve on their talent instead of badmouthing Simon for it. If it were not for Simon we might see this show get quite boring I am sure.

That is so true that is why I start the discussion. American Idol without Simon is like a car without an engine.

I love Simon..its one of the main reasons I watch it... He gives a truthful response, whether good or bad, everytime. I think in 3 years when he leaves AI, the show will pretty much be done anyways, unless new voting rules come out, etc.... but if for some reason it carries on, I think the ratings will drop drastically without Simon.
