Tired and crabby.

I can't help it. When I am overtired I have a hard time coping with little things. This also happens when I am very hungry. It changes my mood. If I take a nap or have a snack I am a totally different person. Do you have something like this or something else that triggers crabby behavior?

Oh... how I do know the condition of which you speak of. I work the graveyard shift and laborig at that time makes me feel lagard all the time. Not to mention the fact that I tend to be much in a bad mood and unpleasantly irritable. I think in this particular situation, the lack of proper sleep and rest is what delivers my crabby behavior.

I'm not really sure if I'm crabby, but I sometimes have the tendency to change moods. There are times when I want to be with my firends, that I long and missed. But there are also times where I get easily fed up by them crowding me, at these times I just stay in the comfort of my room and spend time alone.

Very good idea. I try not to be crabby but sometimes it just gets the best of me! Thanks for the response!

Hunger will definitely trigger my crankiness. Also headaches will do the trick as well. And sometimes I get hunger headaches, which is twice the crankiness! : )

Dear Jillhill, I am a sugar patient. Bodily I am a very healthy person. In case sugar content in my blood increases it brings lot of problem in my behaviour. During that time I feel always tired, sleepy (but I cannot sleep only feeling). Now I have full control my sugar. As you said I feel tired sometime and actually in those times I have crabby behaviour. You are also right when any individual is hungry there behaviour changes. Just for example. One family was negotiating with a cook for cooking food for their family funtion. The cook was proposing a large quantity for preparing various items. Immediately one old man recognizing that the cook was hungry and was therefore suggesting large quantity for preparation of various items, said to his wife, FIRST, FEEED THE COOK AND HE WILL SUGGEST THE RIGHT QUANITY FOR COOKING VARIOUS ITEMS. COOK WAS FED. AFTERWARDS COOK SUGGESTED THE RIGHT QUANTITY. Therefore hungry people have a crabby behaviour.

Hi there. I can relate to this post. There have been a few times where Ive over worked myself and not gotten enough rest and then found that I could sound cranky, by listening to the tone of my voice, which soon prompts me to snap out of it and get some rest...

When I am tired...I get really droopy and quiet. I may get a little "short" and "impatient" but I don't get too crabby with people, usually. When I am hungry...I eat...haha. Something that triggers my crabby behavior is when people "slam" and "degrade" our leaders in our country, where is the respect that we used to have.

I think it's wonderful you don't get crabby unless it's for something important. That makes me crabby too! THanks for responding1
