I am married, have two teenage boys, and a dog. I keep busy but still have time to be on here to earn a little money on the side.

I fall under the first three. I have a part time job where I am employee, I am part owner of a business which I help run and I do contract work. I am hoping to drop my employee status soon.

A thought provoking question actually. I'm currently in the 1st quadrant, with aspirations of entering quadrant 2, so I can one day live off residing in the 4th quadrant.

i think being as employee doesn't stop us being an investor at the same time. may be we should do careful planning on our financial into different portion so that we maximise our income earning potential and eventually move to the 4th.

I am not in any of those categories really because I am retired and we receive a pension. Yes we did contribute to it over a number of years but still cannot say that we are any of the 4 above. I doubt that we will have the opportunity to change the situation but then again we are happy with what we have so what more can we want from life. :)

yes, of course. in whatever age, it's still possible. like the KFC owner, in age of 65 i think, he is in his pension stage, while he still grab his own family secret recipy and then make a fortune out of it. i believe whatever we wanna do, as long as we dont give up and always keep on trying, we will eventually achieve what we want in our life.

Actually all the four, I run a small financial and insurnce advisory in India-that puts me in as a business-owner, and since I don't have any partners, that would classify me as self employed. Besides I am on a panel of writers for a publication where I get paid a fixed amount for consultation-that makes me an employee. Being a financial advisor, I also invest my money into a lot of financial products (have more than doubled my investment as a matter of fact by picking good investments over the last three years), so that makes me an investor too. Oh and I also free lance as a writer for a couple of periodicals in India. Know of any publications that need free lancers in your country on elsewhere? I could write for them too, against payment, of course!

I manage time well, yes, but once things are set the tasks become boring, so I try and add some chores and then have the fun and the frustation of having to set up a time table once again.

Do YOU HAVE ONE DOLLAR???? That is all it takes in the month of November. No contracts to sign, if it dosen't work out for you at any time you just quit. WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO LOOSE except staying poor & taking a chance of being scammed. ........................................................... You want financial freedom??? My Mom is a single Mom with 4 of us children. She has been working for 2 years and I am telling you this is no scam. I see her checks every single time they come in the mail like clock work. Check her site out! Feel free to pass it to others too. My Mom is a trainer for the company and is a great TEAM LEADER!!!!! Http://www.HomeCareerSeekers.com
