I think that you have either misrepresented or misunderstand the term 'Blind Faith".When one speaks of having "Blind Faith" for example is when you go to an amusement park and expect the roller coaster to stay on the track. You have "Blind Faith" in the expectation that the engineer who designed it with the users safety and welfare in mind. You have"Blind Faith" in the responsibility of the amusment park management to keep up with a proper maintenance schedule . You have"Blind Faith" in the expectation that the Airplane or any vehicle your traveling in will get you to your destination with out a failure. "Blind Faith" is making a reasonable assumption based on previous experience.

There's no doubt that we need faith, the problem I have is when people put reason over faith which is completely ludacris. If we want to win a race we have to have a little bit of faith to win it or there would be no point so yes I do believe there is line between reasonable faith and blind faith. Blind faith is normally in religious terms.
